AKWA Guest-house & Restaurant is located at the quiet end of Chaweng Beach. Chaweng Beach is only a 45 second walk, or 15 second run (if you are in a hurry), from the front doors of the AKWA Guest-house. AKWA is Unique.

The individual and boutique style accommodation at AKWA Guest-house provides the discerning holiday goer with an experience you will remember for years. We are the only funky, pop art style Guesthouse, with direct and free access to beach and swimming pool.

We are just across the road from Poppies Resort (very famous). To read what others say about us, please read our Testimonials. The room rate excludes breakfast (Thou à la Carte Breakfast is available all day long till we Close.)

AKWA STANDARD ROOM

The AKWA Standard rooms are located just two steps right next door to the AKWA Restaurant and Main Building. You of course have direct access to Chaweng Beach. The Beach is only a 45 second walk, or 15 second run (if you are in a hurry), from the front doors of the AKWA Guest-house & Restaurant. All of AKWA is Unique. The individual and boutique style accommodation of the AKWA Standard room provides the discerning holiday goer with an experience you will remember for years. Standard Room includes: A Great location, WiFi in the all of the Standard rooms, Quilt and Pillows, audio-visual equipment including, Satellite Cable TV, DVD. Open style bathroom, Spray shower with continuous hot water, Individually controlled air-conditioning, Mini Fridge.

Maximum guests per room = 2 (No Children or Extra bed requests)

PLEASE NOTE: The latest check in time can not exceed 11:00 PM (if you arrive after 11PM it may and could be at your own risk as our Reception / Bar may close at 11PM). Thou should you arrive after this time it is at your own risk and you may have to pay at your own cost an additionally accommodation fee for that evening/morning and that nights fee that you owe AKWA will not be refundable. Yet we rarely close before 12am.

AKWA DELUXE STUDIO

The AKWA Deluxe Studio is larger and plusher than the Standard Room and is located at the southern end of Chaweng Beach in the Main AKWA Building. Chaweng Beach is only a 45 second walk, or 15 second run (if you are in a hurry) from the front doors of the AKWA Guest-house. All of AKWA is Unique. The individual and boutique style accommodation of the AKWA Deluxe Studio provides the discerning holiday goer with an experience you will remember for years. AKWA Deluxe room includes: Superb location, WiFi in all the Deluxe rooms, Quilt and Pillows, State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment including, Satellite Cable TV, DVD, CD, MP3 stereo/movie system, 21 Inch TV with speakers. Open style bathroom, Spray shower with continuous hot water, Individually controlled air-conditioning, Mini Fridge, Complimentary Drinking Water, In room Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, Electrical kettle, Windows that open, Superb 5 Star Service. Maximum guests per room = 2 (No Children or Extra bed requests)

AKWA PENTHOUSE STUDIO

(there are 2 Penthouse Studios)

The 2 AKWA Penthouse Studio’s are located on the top floors of the AKWA Guesthouse complexes and are all generous Pop Art Inspired Funky Studios, which includes all modern conveniences. The two are slightly different yet they all boast a Large Terrace With Dining for 4 and a Teak Sun Bed or 2. Each has a modern Bathroom with a variety of luxurious Toiletries, The Studio’s have a private bath tub overlooking the terrace. Amenities include: 1 king bed with Egyptian cotton linens and a cosy feather duvet quilt and pillows. WiFi in all of the Penthouse Studio’s, Lounge area, State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment including, Satellite Cable TV, DVD, CD, MP3 stereo/movie system, 21 Inch TV with speakers. Open style bathroom, Spray shower with continuous hot water, Individually controlled air-conditioning, Mini Fridge, Complimentary Drinking Water, In room Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, Electrical kettle, In-room safe, Windows that open, AM/FM clock radio, Superb 5 Star Service. AKWA GARDEN APARTMENT

The AKWA Garden Family Apartment is located on the ground floor of the AKWA 3 building. It is a generous Pop Art Inspired Funky Apartment, which can sleep up to 4 People; it has 1 King size Private Bedroom, a Small Loft room with a single bed, and a sleeping Sofa in the living area. The Garden Apartment includes all modern conveniences.

The bathroom features a rain Shower and a door that can open out into the surrounding enclosed garden. It has a variety of luxurious Toiletries, It boasts a private bath tub (not spa due to requirements). The Apartments features include: 1 king bed with Egyptian cotton linens and a cosy feather duvet quilt and pillows. Single bed loft area with duvet quilt and pillows, Free WiFi, 3 TV’s with Cable TV, Lounge area, Table seating 4, State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment including, Satellite Cable TV, DVD, CD, MP3 stereo/movie system. An out-door Garden Area with small terrace, surrounded by a Bamboo fence and Thai ferns. 2 Individually controlled air-conditioning, Mini Fridge, Microwave, Complimentary Drinking Water, In room Tea and Coffee Making Facilities, Electrical kettle, In-room safe, Windows that open, AM/FM clock radio, Superb 5 Star Service. (The Garden Apartment is located at the back of the AKWA 3 building and is self contained).

AKWA CANCELLATION POLICY

(applies to walk in bookings and AKWA website bookings via "the book with us" link only, some links can be also 100% cancellation fee)

Your confirmed, booked dates are subject to the following policy; should you for any circumstances (Travel, Weather, Act of God etc.) decide to cancel or change your dates of your confirmed booking via this website, the cancellation fee is 100% of the entire booked and confirmed dates.

Note: if you are booking on behalf of someone else or for your partner or friends please inform them of all the details below, as I have had some issues where people may have been expecting baby cots (we don’t have any) extra beds (we don’t have any) and Twin bed rooms (we don’t have any).

Some of the AKWA Standard, Deluxe and Penthouse are located in different buildings just a small distance away from the AKWA Restaurant. You of course have direct access to Chaweng Beach. The Beach is only a 45 second walk, or 15 second run (if you are in a hurry), from the front doors of the AKWA Guest-house & Restaurant. All of AKWA is Unique. I don’t like to arrange a taxi picks up as the new airport is very confusing and it is now very difficult for a taxi and or pick up car to actually find you even with a sign. I would suggest that you take a mini bus, or taxi to get to us. This should cost you approximately 150 THB per person and a taxi should be around 300 THB.

Again we are located at the south end of renowned Chaweng beach, well away from the hustle and bustle of the main resort areas. We are just across the road from Poppies Resort (very famous). If they are confused just tell them to go to Poppies Resort or Seascape resort as we are opposite these places.
