"The Little Things"

The AKWA experience is like no other. Be it the initial warm greeting by Tim or Lee or the special touches during the stay that convince you that you are amongst close friends of long standing, the AKWA feel is unique. The Bar and Restaurant provide the perfect venue to unwind from a hectic day on glorious Chaweng beach. The vibe is terrific - from the splashes of Pop art colour through to the sounds of Chili Pepper Funk at night. The bar became our home away from home. You see AKWA will be what ever you want it to be. Tim and Lee go out of their way to make sure that they give you what you are looking for - be it a certain song or an entire play list put together based on a conversation you only hazily remember having the night before...nothing is too much to ask. The rooms are accessed by stairs that despite a steep appearance did not confound us at any time during our stay regardless of how comfortable we had become at the bar....And the stairs are worth climbing as the rooms are also a unique signature of AKWA. Comfort with a capital C and practicality are two things that come to mind and both reflect Tim's ample experience in the high end Hotel and hospitality industry.
